Paper instructions:
For this forum I want you to explore how far (or not so far) the United States has progressed in regard to child labor on farms. You read about child labor in the 19th/20th century this week—well what about today? For this forum you will need to first read some news stories/watch some videos about children working on farms in the 21st century America. To give you some help with this week’s assignment, check out these videos.

Then I want you to post a memo to President Trump. In this memo you need to explain what the problem is today, and importantly what lessons we learned from child labor on the farms in the 19/20th century that can be brought to bear today. (That is, did we improve the situation for child labor on farms; make it worse; not do anything about it).You must post your first response to this forum by Friday night.

Then you need to comment on at least 2 other students’ posts. Are your memos in agreement? Are there significant differences?

Support your ideas with at least three (3) sources using citations in your essay. Make sure to cite using the APA writing style for the essay. The cover page and reference page in correct APA do not count towards the minimum word amount. Review the rubric criteria for this assignment.

Length: 1000-1500 words; answers must thoroughly address the prompts in a clear, concise manner.
